About The CareGivers, Inc.

Volunteers are Important

Simply stated, without volunteers there would be no CareGivers. They are the "backbone" of the organization and vital to its continuing existence. It is only through the effort of volunteers that The CareGivers is able to offer services to those in need.

By helping someone with grocery shopping, taking them to their doctor's appointment, or by making a friendly visit, you help people remain in their own homes and strengthen our communities. These opportunities do not require obligation to a weekly time commitment: our program coordinator will work with you to accommodate your busy schedule.

Volunteering Opportunities

Caring Cupboard Program

The Caring Cupboard program provides free food - delivered right to the homes of eligible frail, elderly and disabled clients needing assistance in order to live independent healthy lifestyles. The Caring Cupboard program is broken down into 3 components; calling volunteers, food packing volunteers and delivery volunteers! Volunteers can sign up for one task or all three tasks!

  1. Caring Cupboard Calling Volunteers
  2. Food Packing Volunteers
  3. Food Delivery Team

Administration Team

Administrative can assist at the office through helping with mailings, making reassurance calls to clients, thank you calls to donors, assisting with marketing efforts and more. Administrative Volunteers opportunities are available during normal business hours Monday through Friday 9:00AM to 3:00PM.

Caring Rides
